EDF Energy becomes the latest supplier to increase prices for the majority of its customers, effective as of January 18th. The company blames wholesale gas and electricity price increases for the increase. The new prices are live on this service.

EDF Energy was the only one of the 'Big 6' energy suppliers not to decrease prices for their electricity customers during a period of lower wholesale electricity prices in 2007, opting to decrease gas prices only.
